레위가 예수를 위하여 자기 집에서 큰 잔치를 하니 세리와 다른 사람이 많이 함께 앉았는 지라(누가복음5:29)

바리새인과 저희 서기관들이 그 제자들을 비방(誹謗)하여 가로되 너희가 어찌 하여 세리와

죄인과 함께 먹고 마시느냐.(:30)

예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 건강한 자에게는 의원이 쓸데없고 병든 자에게 라야 쓸데 있나니(:31)[내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 불러 회개시키려 왔노라.:32]

주께서 사십년 동안 너희를 인도 하여 광야를 통행케 하셨거니와 너희 몸의 옷이 낡지 아니하였고 너희 발의 신이 해어지지 아니하였으며(신명기29:5)[너희로 떡도 먹지 못하며 포도주나 독주를 마시지 못하게 하였음은 주는 너희 하나님 여호와이신 줄을 알게 하려 하심이니라.:6]

네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 네 열조가 얻은 땅으로 돌아오게 하사 너로 다시 그것을 얻게 할 것이며 여호와께서 또 네게 선을 행 하사 너로 네 열조 보다 더 번성(蕃盛)케 하실 것이며(신명기30:5)[너는 돌아와 다시 여호와의 말씀을 순종하고 내가 오늘날 네게 명한 그 모든 명령을 행할 것이라.:8]

여호와께서 그들을 너희 앞에 붙이시리니 너희는 내가 너희에게 명한 모든 명령대로 그들에게 행할 것이라.(신명기31:5)

저에게 의로 여기셨다 기록된 것은 아브라함만 위한 것이 아니요(로마서4:23)

의로 여기심을 받을 우리도 위함이니 곧 예수 우리 주를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이를

믿는 자니라.(:24)

예수는 우리 범죄 함을 위하여 내어 줌이 되고 또한 우리를 의롭다 하심을 위하여 살아 나셨느니라.(:25)

곁에 선 사람들이 말하되 하나님의 대 제사장을 네가 욕하느냐(사도행전23:4)

당신을 더 괴롭게 아니하려 하여 우리가 대강 여짜옵나니 관용하여 들으시기를 원하나이다.(사도행전24:4)

베스도가 대답하여 바울이 가이사랴에 구류 된 것과 자기도 미구에 더나 갈 것을 말하고(사도행전25:4)[또 가로되 너희 중 유력한 자들은 나와ㅣ 함께 내려가서 그 사람에게 만일 옳지 아니한 일이 있거든 송사하라 하니라.:5]

LK 5:29 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them.

Lk 5:30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"

Lk 5:31 Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

[I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.":31]

Dt 29:5 During the forty years that I led you through the desert, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.
